The Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Crete has been running a M.Sc. Program in Economic Theory and Policy since the academic year 2002-2003 and a Ph.D. Program in Economic Science since 2001-2002.

The Program intends to develop the students’ skills in matters of economic analysis and economic policy, making the best use of the Department’s human resources; it is designed to meet the needs in high-level training and research work on the part of the Department’s Teaching and Research Staff, on the one hand, and to satisfy the demand for post-graduate studies in Economic Sciences, on the other.

The Graduate Program admits also students through the Erasmus Exchange Program.
