The final evaluation of the Ph.D thesis is carried out by a committee consisting of seven members. The members of the student’s advisory committee participate in this committee.  The doctoral student presents his thesis before the committee and at least four of the members need to be present during the presentation, while the rest can participate through videoconference. The committee evaluates the quality and contribution of the dissertaion. The approval of the  thesis requires the positive vote of at least five members of the committee.
