The doctoral students of the Department are eligible to apply for a scholarship offered by Office for Research of the University of Crete. The criteria for receiving a scholarship include  the overall grade in the post-graduate degrees of the candidate, the number and quality of his publications, his contribution in the teaching activities of the Department, etc. The maximum amount of scholarship is set at 450 euros per month.
