The Seminar courses constitute an innovative feature of the undergraduate Program of the Department. Via these Seminars, the students learn how to:
- familiarize themselves with the scientific literature in Economics
- search and analyze statistical data in Economics and related fields
- apply theoretical models to real economic problems
- write and present scientific papers and projects in Economics
- analyze the problems facing the modern economies using the tools of Economics
- think critically about various economic issues
The Seminar courses are not mandatory. They are recommended for students who are interested in developing research skills and in improving their analytical abilities. The Seminars cover most research areas of modern Economics.
