As a necessary prerequisite towards the completion of their studies, the students must pass thirteen basic courses in Economics. These courses are:
- Introduction to Economic Theory (ECO1007)
- Mathematics I and II (ECO1001 and ECO1004)
- Statistics I and II (ECO1003 and ECO1006)
- Macroeconomic Theory I, II and III (ECO1002, ECO2001, ECO2004)
- Microeconomic Theory I, II and III (ECO1005, ECO2002 and ECO2005)
- Econometrics I and II (ECO2003 and ECO2006)
The content of these courses represents the core of modern Economics. The material covered is also a prerequisite for comprehending the material of the specialized courses offered later in the Program.
