The seminar will present the compilation procedures of ‘General Government Deficit and Debt’ according to EU rules (ESA2010). The main aim is to make the audience familiar with concepts regarding official Government Finance Statistics (GFS) such as: General Government definition, Legal framework of GFS, Data sources, Compilation procedures, Main transactions, Excessive Deficit Procedure (EDP), Official tables (T200, T28) and Dissemination of data.
